At Little U, our team is our greatest asset! Our professional Little U Team comprises of directors, team leaders, lead teachers and teaching assistants. Most importantly, we all work closely together with a common vision and goals. Our professional team offers dynamic teaching methods with a positive interest in your child’s development. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, safe, loving, and educational environment.
Most corporate preschools force their staff to follow their standard lesson plans each week. Consequently, since every child is not the same, standard lesson plans do not work for every child. For that reason, we believe in what we call “Active Classroom Management.” This means that our team tailors each classroom’s lesson plan to the children in that developmental group.
To make this happen, each lead teacher develops a lesson plan for their classroom and reviews it with our directors. Our team focuses on developing a well-balanced curriculum, which integrates play and learning. At Little U, your child will experience that learning is fun!
To helps bridge home and school, our team works in partnership with our parents. Close communication ensures the better development of your child. Knowing that Little U is there for your family, allows parents to focus on their tasks at hand.
Prior to and during employment, all employees are required to pass a background check among other criteria. In addition, our staff members acquire training in both first aid and CPR. Annually, every employee must obtain over 20 hours in continuous education. At Little U, we go beyond the State of Indiana requirements.
